چکیده
Abstract The prosthodontic management of a patient with long-term edentulism is challenging. Conventional dentures have been the traditional standard care for longest time. However, most patients experience difficulty in adapting to their mandibular due lack stability and retention. From past two decades, implant-supported overdentures offering numerous advantages over complete removable partial predictably good clinical results. These include increased oral function, decreased bone resorption, prosthesis movement, better aesthetics, maintenance occlusal vertical dimension. This article presents case report fabrication two-implant overdenture knife edge ridge anterior mandible opposing conventional maxillary denture.

Case Report: Implant-Supported Removable Partial Denture In A Mandibular Kennedy CL II: A Clinical Report
Abstract The implant-supported removable partial dentures should be an alternative to conventional removable partial dentures and implant-supported fixed partial prostheses when the implant’s insertion is confined by bone height and thickness. Placing a single implant in the posterior region would modify the Kennedy Class II configuration to a Kennedy Class III and increase the stability a...

Physical disfigurement and functional impairments associated with facial trauma are a challenge to a prosthodontist, because even novel sophisticated surgical reconstructive techniques fail to provide adequate support for dental resection prosthesis. Therefore, different endosseous implants are often used as prosthesis-supporting elements. Manufacturers of dental implants have recently presente...

During oral rehabilitation of an edentulous patient with an implant-supported prosthesis, mandibular flexure must be considered an important biomechanical factor when planning the metal framework design, especially if implants are installed posterior to the interforaminal region. When an edentulous mandible is restored with a fixed implant-supported prosthesis connected by a fixed full-arch fra...
